MALAWI MINISTRY TEAM

The Malawi Ministry Project began in 2003. The Malawi Mission Team carries on with the goal of making a difference in the lives of Malawian orphans in the Nthandizi area in the district of Ntcheu who are suffering from hunger, poverty, or a lack of educational opportunities.

Our objectives are to continue to expand and improve our Child Sponsorship Program, to raise funds for fertilizer purchases by the guardians of our sponsorees, to assist sponsorees to meet secondary education and college costs, and to further develop the relationship with our African partners - FOCAS (Friends of Children Arts Society) and Nthandizi Orphan Care Committee.

An annual Auction and Benefit Concert is our primary fundraiser. We have a special need for people with experience in publicity, management, and fundraising but ALL are welcome!

We meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the Church Library.
