What is it?  A fun event with live music, games and a bouncy house for families and the community to enjoy an evening out while collecting non-perishable food for the Cheshire Community Food Pantry.  Foodstock will be held on the Church Green from 5-7pm on Friday, June 28th.

Why?  During the summer, children are out of school.  Families already struggling to provide the necessities for their family now have to worry about providing an additional 2 meals per day for their children who usually receive reduced or free breakfast and lunch at school.

What foods are needed?  Non-perishable donations of kid cereals, mac and cheese, canned pasta, hamburger helper, pop tarts, Nutella, jelly ,popcorn ,juice boxes, ramen, fruit cups, applesauce cups , granola bars and goldfish pretzels.  All collected foods will be donated to the Cheshire Community Food Pantry.

Why Foodstock?  Think Woodstock with a Food collection to help our neighbors.

Who is organizing this?  The Cheshire Clergy Association.
