Middle School and Senior High Youth Fellowship
Our youth group gatherings provide a chance for youth to discuss how faith and life intersect. It’s a place to engage our deep questions, our hopes, and our sense of humor, too. Our youth groups welcome everyone no matter their religious background, ideas about God, or anything else. All are welcome.
Middle School Youth Fellowship and Midnight Run
Our middle school youth have a variety of activities that give them opportunities for learning and growing, fellowship, and putting their faith into action.
On Sunday mornings, our 7th and 8th graders gather during worship on Sunday mornings to learn more about Jesus and our faith. During this time we review some of the major stories from the Old and New Testament and gain some Biblical background and familiarity with the Bible that will help when it comes time for Confirmation. For more information regarding our church’s Sunday morning programs, please contact Dawn Marchand, Acting Director for Christian Education.
Our middle school Midnight Run group meets on the last Monday of every month from 6:00-7:30 p.m.. We make sandwich meals that will feed the hungry and homeless in New Haven that night. We make the meals, share a meal together (pizza!), and play fun games. Members of our church Board of Outreach and other adult volunteers pick up the meals from the church and deliver them to folks in New Haven. The work our students do in assembling the meals has an immediate impact as those that receive them get them within hours of the sandwiches being made. This is a can't miss event for all of our middle school youth!
Senior High Youth Fellowship
Our high school group meets on Sunday evenings from 6:30-8:00 p.m. We meet every week with the exceptions of holidays, school vacation weeks, or if we have an alternative event (overnight, service event, etc.) planned for that weekend.
Senior High Mission Trip
Our church has been sending a youth mission team on a week-long summer mission trip for 21 years! The youth mission team spends a week alongside youth from around the country through repairing homes of the elderly, disabled, and low-income families.
This is always a highlight of the year to all those that attend. Our trip this year will be July 13th-20th and we'll be traveling to eastern Tennessee with Appalachian Service Project.
